About Karla
Karla is the founder of The Open Toy Box (2002) in UK, offering Play Therapy, Counselling/Therapy. She presented her MA on Selective Mutism, at 2010 World Congress of Play Therapy in Marrakech.
Karla holds a Diploma in Therapeutic Life Story Work (TLSW) 2017 that has enhanced her practice. Her passion has always been to build a therapeutic relationship of safety creatively and collaboratively in a protected space for a child’s emotional healing to occur.
Karla now concentrates her career on TLSW, supervising, training, and writing. Karla is a TLSWi Committee Member and is committed to strengthening and developing TLSW practice worldwide. Karla is awaiting publication of a book written with her co-author reflecting on their TLSW practice.
